Pink at the Auction

Welcome to my garden home,
Today is Pink Saturday, well at least that is what some of us bloggers call the Saturdays that we choose to participate in Beverly's at How Sweet the Sound pink posting extravaganza!
So here is what I am sharing today two recent purchases from the local auction. This first one is probably going to be used to contain flowers and plants for an outside display at the garden shop. I paid $4 for it and just love it. Now do you think that any of you would resist this little gem.
When the auctioneer held up this little piece, I think he thought the roses were on both sides so the side we saw had no flowers on it, but since I was the one who requested it , I knew what both sides looked like and was the lucky bidder to get it for $5. It is German and in excellent shape except for one little pin chip that I may actually have done. Peruse around the blogs and visit all the other pink participants by clicking on Bev's name above. Happy Pink Saturday to You! Blessings Meg

Hi, Meg,
You found two treasures at the auction. The cart will look so cute with flowers, and who could resist that lovely German pitcher with roses? I hope you have the loveliest of weekends, my friend. Love and blessings! Vicki

Hello Meg and thanks for stopping by. Goodness snow!!!!! Of course when I lived in New Hampshire I remember snow one Easter!

Love your recent finds - that wagon will be great for flowers in the garden, and the pitcher is just beautiful.

Happy week ahead - sending you warm and sunny days from North Carolina!

Happy PiNk, Meg..

What great finds and prices!!

Yes, I'm using a new graphics editing program and it's free. :0) I seem to be slow in discovering some of this stuff...LOL

Here are a few links..one for downloading [which by the way was totally painless]. I used the second option to download from "cnet".

First link is the page that shows you some screen shots of what it does

http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php

then some screen shots

http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/screenshot.php

and here to download...but you will see the tabs at the site to go to all of these different pages.

http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/download.php

It's Photoscape and it's open source meaning it is being developed constantly and will have free updates..I haven't even looked yet to see if there's an "update" option in the software.

Anywho...I'm having a blast with my photography and then using the great filters and frames.

Try it out..let me know if you do so I can come see!

Have a lovely day,
Stephanie ♥

I've never been to an auction but would love to go some time. The vase is fabulous! Good luck with selling at the flea markets.
