Christmas Cactus Blooming

Although today is Halloween the Christmas cactus is blooming in the kitchen which is nice for me since flowers are one of my passions and all the flowers except these pansies are dead in the yard.

If you want to see all the other great pinks on this the orange and black holiday you should stop by Bev's at How Sweet the Sound and then visit the new blog I visited this week, Ann at Anne Fannie's Green Acres. She has the cutest pups ready for the holiday and she makes gorgeous gift tags which she sells at her Etsy shop. Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you next week. Blessings, Meg

Hi Meg!

Happy November!
I loved seeing all your flowers and bet you are so enjoying that bloomin CHRISTmas cactus! I used to have one long ago. I've been thinking about starting an amaryllis or two in a pot. My Mother used to buy them for me and there's just something about having a pot of blooming flowers indoors when they weather is yucky outside.
Have a beeeautiful day!

your cactus is wonderful Meg. My Mom has one that will be blooming soon. She keeps hers on a backporch that is not heated so therefore it's very very cool out there in the Winter and her plants seem to love it. I don't have any luck at all. Mom has had hers for years and years. Happy (way late) Pink Sturday.
